It seems my problem building my in-game finances is that I have what may be the best ship in the game during the beginning of the game. Yeah I noticed that and have been doing the same. my first port has almost everything maxed, and i pile up Sail cloth and Timber, so that when they are super expensive i get paid very well for them and i usually have 180 stocked at the time, its hard to for me to make you a guide, i can only inform you of my progress, and the way i approach, heck most of the time i dont even think about it lol. if you happen to have a batch of spices or tobacco, and it is very expensive i get tripple the amout i payed for them, if you have a faction you hate, seige their ports (the easy ones mind you) you get 1000g but my repair cost and crew replacement isnt worth it. sometime on the "news" next to the small compass, there are a ware thats particually expensive due to some random events. well Jack, its actually quite simple, a ware which is shown red is expensive, and greens indicate "sale" buy green and sell red, nothing more to it, whenever i have some spare coins i upgrade my own port buildings. They're useless if you're looking for a guide. The only videos available for this game on youtube may as well be about a monkey with a stick. The only guide here on steam for this game is a comical joke about a monkey using a stick for a sword. What do you buy where? And where do you sell that item to for the best profit. That's my review! lol! It would be great if someone who's actually succeeding in this game posted a real guide on how to do such things as make a good profit buying/selling. Well once you figure out how to make money it helps. Originally posted by Soner bey:well had a ketch and bought 2k gold coins, which gave me a 2nd rate,
